The Caribbean Hotel, located on the oceanfront in Miami Beach only a few blocks from Arthur Godfrey Road, was a landmark structure built in 1941. With this ideal location The Caribbean offers easy access to boutiques, shops & restaurants as well as all major highways & the very chic South Beach is only 5-minutes south & the newly revitalized downtown Miami 10-minutes.
Originally designed by famed Architect Murray Dixon & built in 1941, the Caribbean Hotel was once one of the hotspots for the rich & famous who frequented Miami Beach during the days of the Rat Pack. This Historic oceanfront landmark is now undergoing restoration & will recapture the glamour of a bygone era as a new, upscale condominium. The existing 7-story building will be renovated to house 35-ultra luxury units in what is to be the north tower & a new 19-story south tower will be built alongside it with 68-equally lavish residences creating 2-towers. Penthouses will feature private rooftop terraces & swimming pools. The exterior façade of the North Tower will be restored to reveal its original Black granite façade & the terrazzo floors will be restored in the lobby.
All units will be decorator ready & have stunning floor-to-ceiling windows, reinforced concrete floors, 9’+ ceilings, generous walk-in closets, individual high-efficiency water heaters, AC system... And they will be pre-wired for electric, cable, high-speed Internet & wireless touchpad panels.
Interiors by world-renowned designer Christopher Ciccone. The project is scheduled to start construction in early 2006, with completion slated for Fall 2007.
